Endowments and General Donations
A
donation to the Arboretum becomes a lasting gift to the entire community.
It helps maintain the heritage of this unique site. Our most beloved and
intensely used gardens were endowed by donors who wished to contribute
something to the university and the community. We also depend on many
general donations each year to acquire new plants, purchase equipment,
and maintain the collections.
Memorial and Commemorative Donations
The Arboretum is a peaceful haven. It is the perfect place to honor a loved one or recognize an organization or event with a commemorative or memorial contribution.
- With a $1,000 minimum donation, your loved one's name will be included on a plaque in the Redwood Memorial Grove. Your donation will support the long-term maintenance of the grove.
- A book will be added to the Arboretum Library collection in honor of your loved one with a $100 minimum donation. Your gift will be recognized on a special bookplate.
- You may contribute $25 or more to the Arboretum Enhancement Fund in honor of your loved one, to ensure the ongoing care of the Arboretum collections.
