Plan Your Visit
The
UC Davis Arboretum occupies a two-mile stretch on campus along the old
north channel of Putah Creek. There are paths on both sides of the waterway
with frequent footbridges connecting them. The west end is level and most
easily accessible to wheelchairs and people with limited mobility.
There is no charge to visit the Arboretum. The gardens are not fenced, and are always open. They may be entered from several points on campus, and from downtown Davis.
Parking is available at several visitor parking lots along the length of the Arboretum (see visitor map). Parking is free on Saturday and Sunday. Permit machines in the visitor parking lots accept bills, coins, ATM and credit cards.
A visitor map is available online
or at the Arboretum Headquarters, which is located on LaRue Road just
west of California Avenue, and is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.
to 4:00 p.m.
If you are planning or already participating in a weekday school program, please see school programs. Provide a link at the term school programs to the following page: http://arboretum.ucdavis.edu/School.htm
