Want a master class on how to prepare your garden for fall? Sign up for our September Learn & Shop event in the Arboretum Teaching Nursery.

The first 90 minutes will be an exclusive session with our resident plant expert and nursery manager, Taylor Lewis.  He will share his best tips and techniques to take advantage of fall planting season, including:

  • Choosing plants and caring for them until planting
  • Bed preparation
  • Planting techniques
  • Fall watering and establishment

Registration is limited to 20 participants.

Cost: $12/person for Friends members or $16/person general admission. Reserved parking ticket option: $22/person for Friends members with pre-paid reserved parking in front of the Arboretum Teaching Nursery - a$10 value! Reserved parking tickets must be purchased at least 3 days prior to event start.

Parking: Attendees without pre-paid reserved parking are welcome to park in any nearby visitor lots and purchase a daily visitor permit for $9.
