Get more buzz and hum in your home garden! Learn easy strategies and excellent plants for attracting more bees, butterflies and birds to your sustainable landscape. 

The first 75-90 minutes will be a walking tour with our staff GATEways Horticulturist, Rachel Davis, through the hummingbird and pollinator demonstration gardens she manages near the Arboretum Teaching Nursery.

Following the walk shop our extensive collection of UC Davis-grown plants in our one-acre Arboretum Teaching Nursery. Many of the plants you've seen on the walking tour will be available for sale.

Class size is limited.

Cost without reserved parking: $12/person for Friends members or $18/person general admission. 

Cost with reserved parking in front of the Nursery: $24/person for Friends members or $30/person general admission. Reserved parking tickets must be purchased at least 3 days prior to event start.

Parking: Attendees without pre-paid reserved parking are welcome to park in any nearby visitor lots and purchase a daily visitor permit for $9.
