Field Trial Monitoring Results
Good potential utility as an urban tree based on evaluation of 6 trees, healthy crown, 100% survival, fast growth rate. Signs of leaf dieback on majority of individuals. Trees have attractive new growth and glossy foliage. Stem dieback was observed, although plants have since recovered.
Propagation Results

We got mediocre germination with seed collected from two specimens. Freshest seed had best germination sown in October in the greenhouse. Future trials should include scarification and cold stratification. Seedlings are growing at a moderate pace.
