In our last update on this project we let you know that a native wildflower mix would be planted here to allow our teams another growing season to eliminate the Bermuda grasses.

What happened? The short answer is, the weather! Our teams spread the seed mixture along the entire strip, but we have unfortunately not had the auspicious combination of rain and consistent temperatures above 60 degrees to allow for germination. We have our fingers crossed this week as we’ve had some rain and are expecting temps in the 60s!
