Whether running, walking, or riding, Arboretum visitors will have a smoother time getting around thanks to road and path maintenance funding from our campus Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) unit.

Asphalt repair work including grinding and patching will be taking place on pathways, mostly west of the La Rue Road bridge (formerly called the California Avenue bridge), through the end of September. Visitors may encounter barricades and minor detours as work is completed one stretch of pathway at a time!

Our pathways are still in need a major overhaul, but, in the meantime, this work will extend their life and create for a safer place to recreate, learn, and enjoy.
