Join Warren Roberts, the Superintendent Emeritus of the Arboretum and famous storyteller and punster, for an always engaging noontime exploration of winter in the UC Davis Arboretum’s gardens and collections. These events are free.

Planting Self-Love

We are redefining Valentine’s Day not only as a day for expressing your love for others, but also for yourself. Come join us to plant your self-love in the Arboretum by making nature-themed cards, water-coloring, and creating a self-appreciation tree!

Folk Music Jam Session

Folk musicians are invited to play together informally during this acoustic jam session at the Wyatt Deck, located on Arboretum Drive (formerly Old Davis Road) next to the redwood grove in the UC Davis Arboretum.

Crafts & Cocoa

Love art and the Arboretum? Ever wonder about the botany of cocoa? Come sip some hot cocoa with the Arboretum Ambassadors and participate in sustainable, creative crafts including leaf pressing, face painting, watercolor painting, and more. We’ll explore the botany of cocoa as we savor!
