Go behind the scenes of the Mary Wattis Brown Garden

Are you a native plant lover, or even native-plant curious? Join Director of Public Horticulture Stacey Parker for a tour of the Mary Wattis Brown Garden of native plants! Named for pioneering gardener and botanist Mary Wattis Brown, this garden honors her legacy by highlighting the potential of our native flora to make attractive, water-wise gardens that thrive in our climate. Get a feel for the diverse flora of our state and some ideas of plants you may want to incorporate into your own garden!

Pre-registration for this event is not required; however please arrive on-time to the meeting location. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and consider bringing a water bottle. The event will be canceled in the event of heavy rain.
