Dr. Jared Shaw, Professor of Organic Chemistry at UC Davis, will focus on plants and plant extracts as he discusses how we are able to design and build new molecules with interesting properties. To complement the lecture, Dr. Shaw will have samples audience members can smell and/or taste.
