Event Date
Thank you for considering attending a Community Volunteer Day with the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden! Volunteer days are a great way to give back, meet other members of the community who enjoy volunteering and gardening, and experience the therapeutic effects of spending time in nature. No prior gardening experience is needed to participate, and everyone over the age of 18 is welcome regardless of your affiliation with UC Davis.
Our volunteer day will take place on Saturday, September 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. The workday will take place on the banks of the Arboretum Waterway toward the west end, meeting at the Putah Creek Lodge. Please note that this volunteer day will involve working in muddy conditions and on fairly steep banks.
Parking: Parking is free on campus on the weekends except where otherwise noted (e.g. signs indicating event parking rates). The closest lot to our meeting location is the Putah Creek Lodge parking lot, and there is bike parking on the northeast side of Putah Creek Lodge.
