Download the map above which highlights in white the multiple ways plant sale customers can get to the Arboretum Teaching Nursery for the plant sale on Saturday, September 29 (Members: 9-11 a.m. | Public: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.).

The campus is working hard to finish some road improvement projects to make bike transportation safer for our students and community, but unfortunately, we just found out that one of these projects is going to close the main road to our plant sale on Saturday, September 29. We are rolling with it and have worked with our campus teams to create some detours to get you to the sale.

Please give yourself a little extra time and patience to follow the detour signs. We'll have signs and people there to help you. We're looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!

If you are coming from I-80, exit UC Davis, make a left on Old Davis Road (for east bound I-80 traffic) or right on Old Davis Road (for west bound I-80 traffic). Go past the large UC Davis monument sign and once you reach the first traffic circle go left onto La Rue Road. Go straight at the first stop sign, cross the bridge and go left to stay on La Rue Road. Watch for signs directing you go left on Putah Creek Lodge Drive. This road will lead you to the closest available plant sale parking lot.

If you are coming from Highway 113, exit Hutchison Drive. Go left on Hutchison (south bound 113 traffic) or right on Hutchison (north bound 113 traffic). Then turn right onto Health Sciences Drive at the first stop light. Turn right on West Health Sciences Drive and follow it around to where West Health Sciences Drive intersects with Garrod Drive at the Gourley Clinical Teaching Center. Turn left on Garrod (you don’t really have a choice, you just wind up on Garrod) and follow it around until you reach the Arboretum Teaching Nursery on the right. From there you can park across the street from the nursery in the Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital parking lot.

If you are coming from La Rue Road and Russell Blvd. in Davis, La Rue Road will still be open the whole way, just not the intersection at La Rue Road and Garrod Drive. Take La Rue Road past Garrod and all the way to Putah Creek Lodge Drive where you will turn right and be led to the closest available parking lot. Or you can go west on Hutchison from La Rue Road, then left on Health Sciences Drive, make the first right on West Health Sciences Drive and follow it around to where West Health Sciences Drive intersects with Garrod Drive at the Gourley Clinical Teaching Center. Turn left on Garrod (you don’t really have a choice, you just wind up on Garrod) and follow it around until you reach the Arboretum Teaching Nursery on the right. From there you can park across the street from the nursery in the Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital parking lot.

If you are coming from downtown Davis, take Old Davis Road to the traffic circle at La Rue Road and turn right. Go straight through the first stop sign then go left to stay on La Rue Road. Turn left on Putah Creek Lodge Drive and be led to the closest available parking lot.
