Field Trial Monitoring Results

Fair potential utility as an urban tree based on evaluation of 6 trees, healthy crown, 100% survival, slow growth rate. Leaf dieback and herbivory on a few individuals; additionally some individuals show signs of chlorosis. Trees have nice red fall color.

Propagation Results

We had poor germination with fresh seed, fall sown outside. We got no germination with 90 day cold stratification in perlite, peat, vermiculite in plastic bag in refrigerator.
