IN THE NEWS: Feature on UC Davis drought website

The Arboretum and Public Garden was featured in May on the home page “Spotlight” of the UC Davis California Drought Watch website (shown above as it appeared in spring).

The UC Davis campus has saved more than 22-million gallons of water so far in 2014 compared to the same time period last year. Most of the savings have come from the use of more drought-tolerant landscaping and adjustments in watering schedules. READ MORE
